Somehow, an Amish bishop, 67-year old Samuel Mullet, Sr. was sentenced to 15-years in jail for the crime of being the ringleader of cutting off other Amish men's beards. Not only this, they called it a hate-crime. Where is the justice? Our justice system is amazing. This is the type of thing the government should not be getting involved in. On what basis can you call Mullet a 'ringleader', the beard-cutting 'attacks', and these attacks as 'hate-crimes?' It's ridiculous how hypocritical the law is. If an attack is personal, it is a hate-crime and they should be sentenced more severely. If it is impersonal, they are heartless, cold, calculated individuals and should be sentenced more severely.
